GOD IS CHEERING FOR YOU by Max Lucado

If your God is Mighty enough to ignite the sun, could it be that He is mighty enough to light your path?

God is for you. Not “may be,” not “has been,” not “was,” not “would be,” but “God is!” He is for you. Today. At this hour. At this minute. As you read this sentence. No need to wait in line or come back tomorrow. He is with you. He could not be closer than he is at this second. His loyalty won’t increase if you are better nor lessen if you are worse. He is for you.

God is for you. Turn to the sidelines; that’s God cheering your run. Look past the finish line; that’s God applauding your steps. Listen for him in the bleachers, shouting your name. Too tired to continue? He’ll carry you. Too discouraged to fight? He’s picking you up. God is for you.

God is for you. Had he a calendar, your birthday would be circled. If he drove a car, your name would be on his bumper. If there’s a tree in heaven, he’s carved your name in the bark. We know he has a tattoo, and we know what it says. “I have written your name on my hand,” he declares (Isa. 49:16).

February 2, 2012

Beautiful. Bohol!

Bohol  has  always been one of my dream places of the country. The land of speaking “J”, instead of “Y”, and “H” instead of “K”. E.g. “Siya” will be spoken “Sija” and “Ako” will be “Aho”. (Pardon for the little knowledge......Well, that's what I often heard of my then bol-anon officemates when they talk.)  I remember  how excited I was after days of discussing our plans of going there with few of my officemates in Cebu then, BUT ,never was it realized.  Not until six years, six looong years (haha!) after, unexpected opportunities came. I get to take a trip there for free!!!!!

First stop. Baclayon Church.

One of the old churches in the Philippines. Inside has life-size statue of Mary, Joseph, Fr. Pio, Pieta, and other religious symbols. The convent beside is now made into a museum. The stones and walls, evident of how strong it is because they were made of coral stones and eggwhites. Yes, eggwhites! Wonderful!.... Proper attire is observed inside the church.

Gift Shop.

Peanut kisses at factory price and more souvenir items to choose.

 Chocolate Hills.

Wow. As in WoW!!!!!  Chocolate hills truly is incomparable and spectacular. They're like GIANT Hershey's  Kisses.. yumyum! I've never seen anything more beautiful like them yet. Not yet.

Loboc River.

I love rivers. I love food  (eat-all-you-can).  I LOVE FLOATING RESTAURANTS!!!!  I love serenades while eating. I love seeing people dance while you eat. I love everything. This is my Most favorite part of the trip, super!

eating, singing and dancing...love, love, love

also, feed your eyes with these beauties

Man-made Mahogany Forest.

You'll be awed with these very tall mahogany trees.

you will have that "para kang nasa States" feeling

 Tarsier.

When you think of Tarsier, you'll think of Bohol. One that Bohol is famous of. I never thought they'll be so small, as small as your fist but have huge eyes. Tarsiers can't be brought as pets since they are suicidal. They'll bang their heads to the wall until they die...tsk tsk tsk.

Beautiful. Wonderful. Grateful.
